Personal note:
Although the period of the Tonight and Never Let Me Down albums and the following Glass Spider Tour which supported them these two albums are considered a low point in DB's career, some of the live material is excellent.
I particularly like Big Brother, Time, Fame, All The Madmen and the rap-version of Up The Hill Backwards.
Also the version of the song Never Let Me Down included in this set is IMHO a gem. So, here is a pristine quality recording of Bowie's "most-80-est-tour". Enjoy (as far as possible :-) )! |

Arena
Verona, Italy |
Audience Recording |
From the Nfo file,
Type: Audience Recording
Quality: 9/10
This live event it has been great for all the italian Duran Duran fans.
A performance of the group mixed with the live sound typical of the arena gave this audience recording; only in "reach up for the sunrise" audio is a bit unbalanced with more high level on the right but the rest is ok.
Also the setlist was great: they played "Sound of thunder" for all the older fans and "(come up and see me) make me smile" where the last time they played it was in the 1984.

This, the last of a three-night run at Irving Plaza at the end of the blues club tour,
is widely recognized as one of Clapton's finest live performances. Clapton pulls out all
the stops and the crowd reactions near the taper are priceless - particularly during the
intro to "Early In the Morning." Other highlights from this great set are smoking versions
of "Five Long Years," "Groaning the Blues," and "Have You Ever Loved a Woman." This show
also features the only performance of "Black Cat Bone" on the entire blues tour. |

This set contains the DJ Aftershow Set. The DJ aftershow is not by any means a super recording, but it has been pieced together from two analog tapes to make it complete, and it has been included because it is interesting and has some great music. One of the BEST Sting recordings I've heard next to "Art Of The Heart" and outside of any official stuff. This is a nice find for those who haven't heard it, very passionate.

Summerfest is Milwaukee Wisconsin's Sturgis of music festivals. The "Rock Stage" faced the city during this time. This show was played when the "Fest" still had it's glory...nowadays, not so glorious. I really miss that. |

There seems to be some short interview segments by the Radio announcer with the band. This adds to the atmosphere of this particular recording especially considering the age of the show. I like this one quite a bit. :) :)

This is actually a recording that was going to be released and then wasn't due to some issues with a few songs they wanted on the release. I liberated this so that the eBay seller who I got it from would stop getting money for it. The band would rather see it go out freely then for someone to take money that they don't even see.

This is A++ Quality. Soundboard recording. One of the finest ZZ Boots. This was digitally remastered and released under a false label in Germany titled "Una Hermosa Noche" or live in the USA, but it's actually a very nice tight near perfect concert from 02/19/1987 in Osaka Japan. |
