Trading Rules:

STANDARD RULES & EXPECTATIONS FOR ANY TRADES:

Hello everyone,

1:

First Off: Be AWARE:

If you turn out to be a BAD trader you WILL make the Bad Trader list....this is a community and since I abide by the rules and etiquette I expect the SAME of you.

There will be NO exceptions UNLESS you make good. I am firm on this belief, the community doesn't need BAD traders to survive or flourish. Rewards ALWAYS come with good trading ethics so IF you have ANY issues with my rules then please save both of us the time and find someone else to trade with. eBay sellers of boots are NOT welcome here either so plz do not contact me. I try and research every trade...finding you isn't that hard.

Anyways, here is a list of my shows for "trade" ONLY, nothing is for sale, if you contact me offering me a price there will be NO dialouge. PLZ, NO TAO or MP3 Sources. If you pm me asking for the trade you send first.....and vice versa if I pm you. I prefer 1:1 trades but might consider 2:1 depending on the show and quality. I am a pretty fair person and haven't gotten all the shows I have here without someone being kind to me on occassion. It helps to return the kindness.

2:

I will consider DVDr Archive trades of shows if it is a possibility and only on a trade by trade basis. Some people might prefer this as a way to obtain a few shows in a trade @ once. It is also more "cost" effective and a guaranteed archive in case the discs you burn get trashed, you just replace them with the original quality archive. I won't due more than 8 shows at a time but will consider adjustments of this on a case by case only.

3:

All shows are either[FM Master, pre-FM, and some FM radio tape transfers] w/some audience. I have the Nfo files for these shows.

In Data Archive trades setlists and artwork I have WILL be included.

In Audio/DVD trades artwork can be e-mailed upon request.

4:

Everything I have is archived on DVDr to keep it in the original format I got it. Some pre-FM, KBFH, Westwood One are only edited to leave out the MC (announcer) and commercials which most don't want anyways. Don't be afraid to drop me a line if you think a trade might be possible, chances are good that it probably is.

Please use quality media like Fuji(Made In Japan) discs, if you don't have or can't afford them let me know in your e-mail and I will try to work something out if I can. I will send track listings (upon request) and package my trades in an organized manner, I would like the same respect in return.

5:

Lastly, if you do NOT have an online list I will NOT trade with you so please don't ask. My ONLY exception to this rule is if you are a member of the communities that I am so at least the trade can be tracked on status, good/bad, PC/e-mail troubles, or back-log.

My "want list" will have everything I am looking for if you want to check it out.

Have fun and let me know if you find anything you like.

Shawn

Soundboard Personal note: Although the period of the Tonight and Never Let Me Down albums and the following Glass Spider Tour which supported them these two albums are considered a low point in DB's career, some of the live material is excellent. I particularly like Big Brother, Time, Fame, All The Madmen and the rap-version of Up The Hill Backwards. Also the version of the song Never Let Me Down included in this set is IMHO a gem. So, here is a pristine quality recording of Bowie's "most-80-est-tour". Enjoy (as far as possible :-) )!

WW1 Radio Broadcast Vinyl Transfer Forget "Arena", this IS the version to have. I remember taping it off the radio when I was younger. Tape has long since disappeared but I recently was treated to this vinyl transfer straight from the Broadcast set, EXCELLENT!!! House Of Blues

Audience/DAT This show started a 5 Sold Out Night run for DD. I was at this one and the 21st. Whomever did these did a fantastic job....I also have the third nite but it isn't as grand as the first 2 nites in the way of sound or ambiance. Wes Wehmiller: Bass Joe Travers: Drums Nick Rhodes: Keyboards Warren Cuccorulo: Guitar Simon LeBon: Vocals

03/21/01

House Of Blues
Chicago, IL
Audience/DAT Here is the second night. This little stretch of tour saw DD playing a few songs they hadn't played in quite awhile. The band wanted to spice up the 5 nights by varying the setlists...they did a FANTASTIC job!!!

03/22/01

House Of Blues
Chicago, IL
Audience Recording The version I have isn't from the same taper who did the first 2 nights out of 5 @ the HOB Chicago. It still has a nice setlist and DD fans were all over these 5 tour dates. :)

06/04/05

Arena
Verona, Italy
Audience Recording From the Nfo file, Type: Audience Recording Quality: 9/10 This live event it has been great for all the italian Duran Duran fans. A performance of the group mixed with the live sound typical of the arena gave this audience recording; only in "reach up for the sunrise" audio is a bit unbalanced with more high level on the right but the rest is ok. Also the setlist was great: they played "Sound of thunder" for all the older fans and "(come up and see me) make me smile" where the last time they played it was in the 1984.

11/01/07

Ethel Barrymore Theatre
New York, NY
Audience/DAT I also have November 8th & 9th as well. I really enjoy the "Electro" sets they're doing. So nice to hear old songs finally making the rounds again. :) :)

Audience This, the last of a three-night run at Irving Plaza at the end of the blues club tour, is widely recognized as one of Clapton's finest live performances. Clapton pulls out all the stops and the crowd reactions near the taper are priceless - particularly during the intro to "Early In the Morning." Other highlights from this great set are smoking versions of "Five Long Years," "Groaning the Blues," and "Have You Ever Loved a Woman." This show also features the only performance of "Black Cat Bone" on the entire blues tour.

This set contains the DJ Aftershow Set. The DJ aftershow is not by any means a super recording, but it has been pieced together from two analog tapes to make it complete, and it has been included because it is interesting and has some great music.
