Sweeeeeet show with nearly perfect sound. The sound isn't as good as the 74 show in circulation, but IMHO the show is waaaaay better. You'll have to hear it to be sure. |

Sounds like it was ripped from a very old vinyl. Quality is deteriorated but listenable. John Cipollina's solos still sound great. |

Much like the performance two nights earlier. The sound is a little better, although Rocket Ship is missing the beginning. It's another short show, though (12/31/72 and 1/2/73 will fit on one disc together). |

Nice clear soundboard sound quality, with a fine performance. The mix is never entirely right, but this seems to be a problem with the soundboard (or the soundman, as Barry mentions during one of the talk tracks). |

The mix in this recording is a little muddy, just clear enough to hear the vocals and some nice solos. Cip's guitar is right up front most of the time, luckily. Of course, it's a very nice show. The last disc has some nasty sound like vinyl scratching. |

This is one of the best sounding Dinosaurs shows I've heard, and the setlist and performance leave nothing to be desired. This is pretty much the best Hunter-era introduction to this band that I can think of. |

The sound is very similar to the 3/19/67 show: there's a little bit of hiss but otherwise a great soundboard recording. The sound is only slightly muddier than 3/19/67, and the performance is great as always. The second half of disc 2 is from the 2/5/67 show which sounds like the original recording is a little more damaged than the night before.

The Moby Grape section sounds very muffled, sadly. Two long jams have lots of potential with this band, and with the bass turned down you can almost hear how great they were. The QMS set sounds superb, with some of their best songs, all stretched out with long jams. |

I edited this a little bit and brought the sound from a low B to medium B+ (if that means anything to you). It is indeed one of the hottest QMS shows I've heard, and that's saying a lot since I don't much like the Dino Valenti version of the band in general. It's a great show. This version of Edward the Mad Shirt Grinder is particularly hot. |
