Trading Rules:

I use and perfer TDK or Sony discs, Disc At Once (DAO) burning method, and I like to avoid writing on the discs by using a Tyvex sleeve for each disc and writing on that instead.

I am relatively new to trading shows, but I'd gladly do a B&P if you want any of my shows. I'm also completely open for any kind of trade. However, I've only used regular mail so far and do not have my own server.

I keep all my shows on disc to conserve space on my computer, but I use only Exact Audio Copy (EAC) to rip the shows and then Roxio CD Creator 5 for burning them to disc.

My e-mail address is lucasgmeyers@yahoo.com

After you contact me for a trade or B&P I'll give you either my college or house address depending on what time of the year it is. But, it's probably better for me to do trades when I'm at school which is late August to mid May.

Allman Brothers Band
Approximate hours: 11.25

09/23/70

Fillmore East
New York, NY
1 MPEG A B+ VCD Thirty-five minute video recording of the Allman Brothers playing at their "home away from home" the Fillmore East. This recording is especially fascinating to me because I was born a decade after Duane's death and the video is a good way to see his playing style up close and personal.

08/26/71

A&R Studios
New York, NY
1 CDR A+ A+ SBD > FM Broadcast Excellent recording quality. This is a great Allman Brothers' show to start with.

09/16/71

The Warehouse
New Orleans, LA
3 CDR A+ B+ AUD One of only three shows with Duane playing on Blue Sky and it's a beautiful thing. This is my favorite Allman Brothers' show and although the recording is less than perfect, its pretty damn good for 1971.

12/31/73

Cow Palace
Daly City, CA
4 CDR A A SBD New Years Eve show with guests Jerry Garcia, Bill Kreutzman, and Boz Scaggs for the second half.

Blues Traveler

09/04/98

The Gorge
George, WA
3 CDR A B+ sounds like an AUD This show is combined with the next one (9/05/98) in Portland, OR. Both shows are from the tail end of the H.O.R.D.E (Horizons of Rock Developing Everywhere) festival that Blues Traveler helped found in 1992. Several guest from the other bands that participated in the festival join Blues Traveler during both shows.

09/05/98

Portland Meadows
Portland, OR
3 CDR A B+ sounds like an AUD This show is combined with the previous one (9/04/98) in George, WA. Both shows are from the tail end of the H.O.R.D.E (Horizons of Rock Developing Everywhere) festival that Blues Traveler helped found in 1992. Bruce Springsteen

09/19/78

Capitol Theater
Passaic, NJ
3 CDR A+ A+ Arguably the greatest Bruce show of all time and in my opinion it wins hands down. The show was broadcast live on WNEW-FM and as the legend goes, you couldn't go anywhere that night and not hear Bruce and the band blasting through the streets of New Jersey. This is probably the best show to start a Springsteen collection with.

12/15/78

Winterland Ballroom
San Francisco, CA
3 CDR A+ A+ Considered the runner up for greatest show and for good reasons. This is another essential Bruce recording and I'm always amazed how he gave the fans such great music night after night during that Darkness Tour of '78. Springsteen's dedication to his friends back on Kingsley and Oceans Ave before Racing in the Streets is especially touching.

Dickey Betts & Great Southern

07/27/02

Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheater
Atlanta, GA
1 CDR A A AUD Good recording and it's nice to hear Dickey playing out on his own, even though they never should have kicked him out of the Allmans...but, he'll be back soon hopefully.

Gov't Mule

09/06/02

Classic Center
Athens, GA
3 CDR A+ A AUD Great Mule show, I have to wonder how they keep putting out such high energy performances night after night. The Possession Over Judgement Day into Rollin' and Tumblin' sequence at the end of Disc One always gets me cause Warren is just so damn good on that slide.

10/31/02

Orpheum Theatre
New Orleans, LA
2 CDR A+ A+ AUD Great show all around but Mississippi Queen really does it for me. Warren's vocals are dead on for the original by Mountain, and if you ask me he actually kind of looks like Leslie West.

02/13/03

Water Street Music Hall
Rochester, NY
3 CDR A+ A+ AUD Proud to say I was at this show, leaning against the stage right in front of Warren and at the end of the show he leaned down, shook my hand, and gave me his guitar pick. That and the overall high energy/quality of the show makes it my favorite Mule show by far.

Jack Johnson
Approximate hours: 5

Date  Venue Media Show Quality Sound Quality Source Notes

10/04/01

Soho
Santa Barbara, CA
1 CDR A B+ AUD I'm guessing from the loud crowd noise that this show was recorded in a bar where a lot of the customers didn't come to see Jack perform. Despite that it's a great show with a couple really good covers thrown in for measure.

06/22/02

Bonnaroo Music Festival
Manchester, TN
1 CDR A+ A AUD Jack from the Arena stage at Bonnaroo with guests Scarlet, DJ Logic, and Ben Harper.

10/22/02

The Fillmore Auditorum
Denver, CO
2 CDR A+ A AUD This is a great, high energy show but the Taj Mahal, Led Zeppelin and Cars covers/teases Jack throws into this show make it a true classic.

Paul McCartney
Approximate hours: 2.5

07/04/90

RFK Stadium
Washington, DC
2 CDR A A SBD Good show from everybody's favorite living Beatle, well my favorite was actually George (may he rest in peace) and I could never take Ringo serious after I found out he was that little conductor guy on that PBS show Shining Time Station.

Blues for Etree by Josh Simpson
