Seeder's Notes: What can I say. Nobody thought about threading up a reel of tape and recording this until it was well under way. So what we have is 16 min and 51 secs of Clapton,Green, and Wells. The tape ends with "Charlie Daniels" (Tea Party announcer...same guy as on the Byrds Tea Party show) saying 'Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jim Wells,...............All right....'
I never used noise reduction and all my tapes are at 7 1/2 ips. Nothing has been edited out or EQ'd. |

Seeder's (mjk5510) notes:
Excellent quality soundboard from the somewhat loose and ever changing 1975 tour, this comes from Jamie Oldaker's reels, via my years ago acquintance Mike T.
"Blues Power" fades out and is incomplete at just over a minute, a couple of other minor flaws but overall excellent quality throughout.
There is also a 2 disc version of this show from a higher generation tape that could easily fit on one disc (the 2 discs combined are just over 78 minutes).
"Don't Know What To Do" > "Badge" is not indexed quite right, I can't remember why I originally transferred it this way, must have been a reason and I didn't want to
mess with it any more.
The 2nd generation tape has not been eq'd and is untouched. |

1 SHN / 2 CDR - This DAT copy of the show shows no signs of FM broadcast, and had a few fades most
likely for placement of commercials. This is probably a leaked broadcast tape.
The fades have been corrected to piece this back together again.
Two songs are missing from this version from between tracks 7 and 8 on Disc 1.
The setlist should be ... Lay Down Sally, Before You Accuse Me, Old Love, No Alibis... |

Seeder's notes: "I used Audigy Cleaning Lab to split tracks, bump up the high end slightly (it falls off dramatically at about +5 kHz), lower the overwhelmingly loud bass (below 200 Hz), and slightly reduce +1 kHz to offset some of the boominess of the arena." |

"Fillmore Blues Night" (Paddington Records - PADVD-01 - DVD-R1)
This first of three performances at San Francisco's Fillmore was filmed by Martin Scorcese's crew in order to help plan out camera moves for the following nights. Shot with a single camera and with (monaural) soundboard audio, this recording has been available to collectors in varying degrees of quality for years but this is the finest we have seen to date. Enhanced even further by a nicely done authoring job, this Paddington release is the definitive visual document of this tasty performance.

Notes from fishmanj:
This is from my Super VHS Master, recorded from PBS's local outlet in NY, WNET. Originally aired once on PBS in 1995. This is a heck of a performance documentary. Lots of good archival footage of the masters. I created the DVD from the PBS's In the Spotlight Documentary on Eric Claptons 1994 blues tour...Directed by Martin Scorcese.
There is no commercial release of this tape. This was used for a Scorcese 1996 documentary called "Nothing but the Blues". But that was pulled from circulation ...Clapton felt that Scorcese should have included full performances of his heros (Muddy, Howlin' Wolf, Lowell Fuson, more on Robert Johnson) and would not release this to the general public.
It is in LPCM audio format (from a MTS Stereo Broadcast)
