To kick off 2024, here is one of my latest projects I have worked on for you all to enjoy: "Warble On You Crazy Diamond", named after the amount of flutter Recorder 2 has during this song (which I have fortunately mitigated!) Rec 2 is the Primary source. It has been de-fluttered (with RX8's plugin), EQ'd as well as de-clicked, with gain changes applied in each channel for balancing, as well as in the overall mix to not overpower sections where Recorder 2 compromises the quality (e.g. fluttering in Shine On You Crazy Diamond Parts V and VI). There was also a brief left channel dropout during Have A Cigar which I have restored. Rec 1 is speed corrected to Rec 2 with values between -7 and 55 cents. It has been EQ'd with gain changes between -1.30dB (Shine On You Crazy Diamond Suite) and +1.50dB (You've Got To Be Crazy). Once done, I then applied speed correction to each song by referencing Sigma 200's speed. For the rest of the show, this was the source used due to the speed correction as well as balancing and level adjustment, with my EQ then applied on top. Finally, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone behind these recordings and this project, including but not limited to: - Jared Houser (Recorder 1) - JEMS and berlin (The people behind the release of the recordings) - WorldmanOne (Creating the cover) - Atomicgamer400 (Providing extras) As always, share freely, don't convert to MP3 unless for personal use, DON'T CHARGE ANYONE FOR FREE MUSIC, etc. Enjoy and Cheerio!
