| Notes | Siamese Dream 30th Anniversary Tower Records pop-up acoustic show at Madame ZuZu's Tea House in Highland Park, IL, owned and operated by WPC. 9:25PM Veeps live web broadcast. The band was in excellent spirits, and the performance will be considered an instant classic, with a semi-acoustic set for the ages. The recording and broadcast quality was superb, and the stage setup was first class, Neumann mics could be seen on each guitarist, and Corgan made sure to keep immaculate tuning ;) WPC announced his marriage to (now) Chloe Corgan the previous evening, teased a possible Siamese Dream '94 inspired tour plus a few Gish songs, and released a limited Mayonaise 12" vinyl at ZuZu's, of which 100 signed copies were available for a few moments before selling out (I got one). The band paid respect to "those who should be here but couldn't" including D'arcy, Butch Vig, Alan Moulder, and others, and gave a truly heartfelt thank-you to the fans. Lineup: Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, James Iha, Jeff Schroeder, Jack Bates, Katie Cole Notes This audio is from the direct stream capture source here: https://archive.org/details/tsp2023-09-17.webdl The only editing was track splitting. Veeps' stream itself had a few issues experienced by all viewers, e.g., Today (stuttering). The stream's MKA audio container is a 16-bit 5.1 AC-3 with FL/FR stereo audio, and auto-generated fake surround effects in all other channels. The FLACs are the FL/FR stereo channels. /Extras contains the raw MKA/AC3 and individual WAVs of each of the 5.1 channels. |
