| Notes | (74:26) FM B'cast - With Warren Haynes, Rick Derringer and Jack Bruce - serious guitar jams - five out of eight tunes are 9 minutes plus in length - some of the tracks transition by fading out 1. Time To Roll (6:27) 2. Duane's Tune / The Blues Ain't Nothin' (11:01) 3. Jessica (15:03) 4. Statsboro Blues (6:49) 5. One Way Out (9:37) 6. Rock & Roll Hoochie Coo (Derringer) (5:07) 7. Spoonful (10:04) 8. Southbound (10:18) The sound on this boot is outstanding and the band is really "on." There are eight tracks on this boot with a total of seven transitions between tracks. Four of the transitions are sound gaps; probably due to this coming from an FM broadcast and having the commercial breaks edited out. The gaps are not blips and don't sound annoying - the sound fades out and back in much like a regular studio album. This boot features the guitar playing of three outstanding guitarists: Dickey Betts, Warren Haynes, and Rick Derringer. Warren Haynes might very well be the best slide guitarist since Duane Allman slid a Coricidin bottle up and down the neck of his guitar. |
