Bill Monroe - mandolin, vocals
Ed Mayfield - guitar, vocals
Charlie Cline - banjo
Gordon Terry - fiddle
Uncle Puny - bass, comedy

* w/ Birch Monroe - fiddle

Caveat Emptor (Brad Hefner):
On some tracks the fiddle is very low in the mix.
This show has some tape hiss yet it is still very listenable considering
it's age. No music was lost during the remastering. Soundforge was used to
fade in and out at the beginning of the disc and to remove a few pops that
occured on the original disc. The remastered disc was retracked using CDWav.

Known Defects:
01) Track 01 fades in, no more than 10 seconds of music lost
02) Track 03 splice before song intro, no music lost
03) Track 11 fades out, no music lost
04) Track 12 fades in, no music lost
05) Track 24 splice at the end of track, unknown amount of music lost
06) Track 25 splice at beginning of song, unknown amount of music lost

Restoration Notes (Mike Wagner): there was considerable hiss present
throughout the spectrum. as much noise was removed as possible prior to
loss of content. recording mics did not capture audio above ~7khz. also
removed was a nasty low freqency, oscillating rumble that was probably
introduced by the original recording device.
