Notes gaps inbetween tracks
Tech Notes It's less than 70 minutes in total length, so I consolidated it to one disc and redid the track divisions to match song starts. So it is a bastard, but an improvement in my opinion.

[The original DiscLive-cds contain millisecond gaps between some tracks. Cause of the redoing of the track divisions the gaps also moved:(

The charming Kim earned her own "Kim, Kim, Kim" chant toward the end.

A note about the setlist: I might've been drunk or something (on Pixies) but I spoiled things by reading the setlist before they started playing, and to my memory it seems like only about 18 or 19 songs were on there. The point at which Kim asks who all had been to Boise before (amusing moment between her and Dave) seems almost like between sets. Maybe I was imagining it.

I felt hamstrung and frustrated at the end because I thought we could've coaxed at least another 3 or 4 songs out of them, but people around me kept giving me "looks" whenever I'd try and scream with my non-existent voice. My thoughts: "People, we are at a rock and roll show, and the Pixies are about ready to stop playing if we don't do something about it." I was MAD at the kids around me for not doing their part. Poo heads!

Joey looked really cool. He is a master craftsman--very businesslike, which explains the consistency of his wailing. He had some rope-a-dope glasses on and a bowling shirt.

Frank looked same as last time seen with the Catholics. Maybe a pound or two slighter. He appeared less excited to be on stage than I would've hoped. But his "scream[ing] like you hate that bitch" had gotten better than the first few shows (based on recordings I had heard). I envy the Europeans, who will probably get the fully-seasoned screamer doing " . . . and God is seven" like he did in the old days.

Kim looked uncomfortable/nervous, but seemed to always be stifling a smile. She has an adorable, sincere, kiddie smile that came out now and then. There's a worn area below the strings of her bass where her pinky finger has rested for who knows how many hundreds of live shows. For a pinkie to have been able to do that, it has got to be around a million hours of playing. She was wearing a black shirt with a false collar and apparently stenciled-in false stitching. She had sweat pant-looking things on as well.

Dave L looked very, very scary. His hairdo could only be described as a "wide-load" mullet. It needed a sign, like those trucks. He was spot-on behind the drums though.

It was weird when they all came to the front toward the end. I was waiting for them to form a line and bow and have a little girl bring them bouquets of roses.

DiscLive stayed at the same motel as me and my wife. Not bad location and cheap.
