FINALLY!
The one you've been waiting for (& the one we'll take the most satisfaction
out of bringing you!).

We begin in 1979 at Hurrahs' in NYC -- with what might be the earliest
existing footage of the Dead Kennedys. Filmed from the left side of the
stage, this is quite generated & rough footage with some raspiness in the
audio. The few online listings of this piece suggest it was filmed in bn'w.
This copy has color -- it looks like green pea soup.
"Crap" according to your girlfriend --- but to fans of the band & the scene,
an indispensable & essential piece of punk rock history.

And to close out the party.....perhaps the defining performance & visual
document of the era....

Black Flag's legendary stand at Mike Muir's Garage in Santa Monica, CA
1983-04-30.
Long considered THE HOLY GRAIL of amateur punk rock video, the copy
presented here appears to be the best available in active trade circulation
(if you can prove otherwise -- let's have it!). I went through no less than
4, very hard-to-come by copies to reach that conclusion, and was backed by
both BC (a member of the scene since the '80s, who had himself gone through
multiple copies over the years) & trashamericanstyle, one of the true
pioneers of the American Hardcore trade circuit.

See Henry "Scream" like never before!
Catch the final glimpse of the unstoppable, unchallenged, 5-piece Black
Flag!!
The pinnacle moment of the genre is now yours!!!

Single Camera Bootleg, 1983. 15 mins.
This show resulted from some silly feud between the Suicidal Tendencies and
Black Flag crowds. As a sign of peace, love, and punk, they threw a show
together in Muir's garage. Someone brought a camera and the rest is history.
Only part of the show is here, but it's pretty incredible. It's also worth
noting that this was Dezo's last real show with the band.
As this is an early shoot with consumer equipment well before "Steady Shot"
and all those modern camera conveniences, this is a rough shoot. It's as
close to the band as you're likely to find, though. You will often find this
packaged along with other shows. Quite often, it's thrown on with the Live
'84 show in San Francisco (edit: but was NEVER packaged with the official
release of that performance).
