Notes:

Recorded with my usual set-up of a Panasonic portable
tape recorder connected to two decent external microphones.
Recorded onto Maxel XL-II 90 min tape. The resulting tape
was fed into my PC via an Onkyo tape deck using CoolEdit.
CoolEdit was then used to break it into individual tracks
and FLAC Frontend was used to convert those to FLAC.

After both sides of my original tape ran out, I tried to
quickly stick a second tape in to get the very tail end
of the set, but the recorder got "jammed" or something.
It just refused to spin the tape, even though the record
button was pressed. I had to remove the tape, fiddle with
a little lever that controls forward/backward play and put
the tape back in before it would start recording again. By
that time I had probably missed a good minute or so of the
set, and they were almost done anyway. But I included that
last little bit just for completeness sake.

The reason the applause lasts so long at the end is because
the band members left the stage one at a time, after setting
their equipment up to continue playing for a while after
they left.

Any help identifying the three missing song titles would
be most appreciated.

About ProgDay:

ProgDay is an outdoor festival of progressive rock
that has been held annually since 1995. In 1996 it
was expanded from one day to two and has been hosting
anywhere from eight to eleven progressive rock bands
each year since. The event takes place at beautiful
Storybook farm, unless rain forces it indoors (which
has fortunately only happened twice in the festival's
history). It's a relaxed atmosphere, where you can
view from anywhere you want - right up against the stage
for the bands you like, or back in the vendor tent while
CD shopping during bands you're not wild about. The
people are friendly, and the band members often hang out
all weekend taking in the show and chatting with fans
when they're not on stage. If you're a prog rock fan
and can possibly attend, it's well worth the effort.
The festival just barely breaks even (or sometimes
doesn't), so every ticket sold really helps. Go if
you can.

About Von Frickle:

These guys are from another planet, or at least that's
what they'd have you believe. They performed covered
entirely in white outfits from head to toe, even wearing
white plastic masks (see included photos). The only
part of each bandmember that was visible was his hands.
After the show, I overheard someone ask the bassist
where the name Von Frickle came from, and with no trace
of humor or irony, he said they chose it when their
ship crashed on Earth because it seemed inconspicuous.

Musically, their biggest influence is probably King
Crimson, although the first song they played reminded
me of Yeti. There are heavy parts, interlocking guitar
parts, spacey parts - it's all over the map, but it's
really good stuff.
