comments:
Bob Marley played his final concert just 8 days after this in Pittsburg, Pa.
on Sept. 23. I'm told this was his 4th to last concert, and that
this is the only known live recording of "bad card". that song is complete here
but I don't know if the concert is. it seems to be all there up to that point.
sadly by this time Bob was showing the effects of the wear and tear his life took
on him, and he felt sick for this show. He still managed to put on a fine inspired
performance.
I originally found out a dimer (forget his name) had previously uploaded this show
and when I asked for it he said he had recieved an upgrade of it and would send a CD copy
to me for uploading. this is what he sent me, and it's the only recording I've ever heard
of this concert. not the best sounding Marley recording circulating, mainly because the
sound in Hynes Aud SUX. But it's not a bad recording for 1980 in that horrible sounding
place. I didn't even know this show happened until I joined dime and found out that guy
had it. I have no idea if this recording has ever been posted, I don't think so, since
he only posted his inferior recording. that was probably in early 2008, maybe 2007.
the CD's I recieved had short gaps in them, (not TAO, much shorter than that but noticable)
which I removed. So this SHOULD be seamless now.
Do not sell this recording.
