| J-Card Comment | This is U2's second performance in New Zealand, and is in fact their second performance in the entire Southern Hemisphere. U2 had intentions to visit the Southern Hemisphere - as well as India - on the War Tour but were exhausted and instead only did a brief tour of Japan. This factor, as well as the band's lack of familiarity with material from the then soon-to-be released Unforgettable Fire album meant that setlists at the New Zealand and Australian shows were very similar to those from the War Tour. Infact, only Pride from the new album was played that night, so I don't know if we can really consider this tour as a TUF tour or rather a post-War tour!. |
