| J-Card Comment | This is the 2nd time I got to see David Bowie on his wonderful Reality tour at my most favorite venue: The Starlight Theatre in Kansas City Missouri. Bowie put on another superb 2+ hour show with many rarities including the first performance of Station To Station since probably the Sound and Vision Tour in 1990. Needless to say, the band nailed it. Another nice memory was meeting Earl Slick before show time mingling around the crowd. 99% of the people would have never recognized him but his vintage 1981 Rolling Stones Tour shirt gave him away to me. A really nice guy and even gave us a bow during the first song of the night. There is some audience noise here and there but nothing too obstrusive. I think it turned out well for an outdoor recording. |
