Notes: The Ray Sausage Consortium proudly presents ... THE MAINE EVENT The Portland State Theatre 19, 20, 21 April 1996 Razor’s Edge 27 28 29 http://www.bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-m06.html “A most audacious and astounding triple CD set to mark his most extraordinary knock-out three day residency” Whoever (Mr Sausage?!) put this together cared and it shows. The track data has all been entered in painstaking detail and they have lined up to the millimetre two pictures of Bobby that stare back at you when you remove the CDs . Excepting the GBS series, this is the only CD in my collection with more than two disks. I really like the shows – Bob is on great form, harmonica gives you the shivers as it should and the vocals in front and crystal clear. There are a few drops that someone (with greater skill than me) could easily repair but I have left this as it came. It is a shame that the only missing track from the 3 days (Rainy Day Women) could not have been squeezed in ... Comprehensive high res. artwork is included. No Easter Eggs this time – they melted in the fire ...
