(2m/1v) (Two discs if burned as mpg, one disc if burned as a VCD). From a tripod VHS recording. Some clipping (esp. at the beginning of the first disc). One audio/video glitch during Dancing Nancies. Dave's guitar is almost inaudible, but the rest of the instruments sound fine. The resolution isn't that great, but the cameraman zooms in on all members of the band eventually, so you can see what they looked like ten years ago. (Yes, you can see Peter Greiser!) (#15-16) |

(2s/2a) dsbd. No flaws that I can recall. Tim plays with the boys for the entire show, and you can tell-- there are a number of wicked AWESOME jams. Rarities: Tripping Billies (nature intro with words!), early version of Say Goodbye and a great Carter & Tim jam. The seeder did no digital editing to this show at all. One of my favorites! (2s/3a) Audience AKG ck91s. This is the "anonymous source," and is IMHO the best source around for this show. Good sound, but the taper doesn't always keep the mics aimed right. Very little audience chatter during the songs. Before the music on d1t01, you can hear the taper (Chris) selling pot to another Dave fan (#24-25) |
