Please note - I've not updated this for years. I still tape, and am still occasionally active at The Trader's Den. I now keep a fairly updated list of masters and freely-distributed shows at http://robkismet.wordpress.com - please feel free to add that to your RSS readers.
The below is left in place for reference only.
Firstly, let me explain the sublists that my shows are now broken down into.
A: Masters. Shows that I have taped myself, including recordings of FM broadcasts and suchlike.
B: Shows with full seedable lineage. By "seedable" I mean "conforming to the seeding standards implemented at thetradersden.org". This is because I feel this community has struck an excellent balance regarding quality control on seeds. Note that this categorisation does NOT mean I necessarily have any intention of seeding a particular show, just that my copy conforms to these quality guidelines. Lineages are not transcribed on this site but rather remain available upon request.
C: Shows with full lineage. Usually higher generation stuff, or the occasional show where I've been stupid enough to delete the original lossless fileset.
D: Shows without full lineage. With a bit of research I may well be able to clarify lineage on many of these, but as it stands I don't know where they came from. Unsurprisingly, a load of the shows in here have errors - whoever said keeping track of lineage was a bad idea? There is though stuff in here that sounds perfectly clean and is as such tradable, just be sure to ask me to check it out carefully first.
E: Videos. I don't do much video trading, in fact most of what I have I haven't watched, but I'm able to copy DVDs and VCDs, and am sometimes willing to receive PAL VHS.
F: Complete list.
Right, here's the fun bit - pay attention now...
Anything in A is also in B and C.
Anything in B is also in C.
D is mutually exclusive of C (and hence A and B).
Everything is in F.
Got that? Good :-)
There may be an odd show in the wrong place - please let me know if you spot anything suspicious. Next up, show-specific trade statuses.
Non-masters that are labelled Not For Trade are also typically reasoned with either Bad Copy or Taper's Request, so there shouldn't be any confusion there. Masters labelled explicitly Not For Trade are usually done so due to some form of connection I have with the band. The only band of any noteworthy stature that this applies to is Reuben, and I am in the process of trying to open up their trade policy (more a problem with label/management than with the band).
// A: Masters // B: Seedable // C: With Lineage // D: Without Lineage // E: Videos // F: Complete List //
