Notes: This is the 3-shows-in-a-day recording, captured by Jared
Reamsbottom in wintertime up in Canada. Here are the orginal
        source notes he sent,

'I recorded both of these on Sharp MiniDisc using
a Sony ECM DS70P. Those two shows make up the
first cd. The second cd is the main Spearhead
show that night at the Commodore Ballroom, where
Spearhead played as part of the SnoCore Icicle
Ball with Blackaliscious, KDTU, and Saul Williams.
Members of those bands sat in on a few songs of
Spearhead's set. That show was recorded from the
soundboard to my Sharp MiniDisc. All three shows
were then recorded directly to CD using a Panasonic
              stand alone burner.'

He seeded this to Freaky Tree on 6/24/2002, and it's the only
recording of these shows known to be in circulation. Note it's
an MD. The first set is at Virgin Records, an acoustic set.
Love Invincible has some great stuff by Radio. Tory sits in
for Dave this day. Michael and Radio trade freestyle beats in
RTN.... pretty smoking for an acoustic set. I think you could
get the sense from Michael that he wanted to really raise it up
some more, because he breaks out a classic uptempo Feeling Free,
        on which Tory shines.

Set II is also an acoustic set at The Sugar Refinery. The crowd
spontaneously sings along. It's neat, and you can pick up a lot
of their reactions. The recording levels are identical to Set I
and the segue from t15 to t16 is smooth. Michael and Radio only.

Set III is an electric show as part of the Sno-Core tour and
takes place at The Commodore Ballroom. It's very good also.
The guest appearances are a bonus. You'll be wondering when
there'll be more sax guest stars. The freestyle track to end
the show after Spearhead's set is the highlight of the night.
Here's what Dan had to say about it on the Freakyandfree setlist,
'Saul Williams picked up the mic and did a poem.
Then Radio beatboxed into a freestyle session
with Gift of Gab, Lateef, Wordsayer, Chris, D-shrap
and Kevin Choice. Great stuff. A++++++'
And that's about what you'll get from this triple-spear-header.
Notes by matthew, and no changes necessary to the source.
