FROM THE BONERAMA WEB SITE:

Before the festival Little Feat got in touch with us about playing with them so we were pretty hyped to be doing so.
We knew it was going to be a big day of playing with some big dogs, but we had no idea of what was going to happen.
As it turns out we were sitting backstage glowing after our hot set then the jamming with The Funky Meters when
we heard that the electricity was out all over the whole town on that mountain top. Good news was that there was a
generator powering the stage but during the Little Feat set the generator overheated and cut off.
So, for a few minutes it was just the drums and percussion jamming when we also heard Fred Tackett who plays guitar
and some trumpet with Little Feat. He started blowing his trumpet with the drums. Mark, Greg and I grabbed our bones and
headed to the stage to help out along with Alvin Ford & Russell Batiste on cowbells. The crowd let out a big yell and
we did our bone thing with some trumpet on top. The other Little Feat guys just sat back, watched and smiled.
It’s all they could do without juice to power their keyboards & guitars. After about 10 minutes of random jamming,
we decided to do a second line through the crowd with the 3 bones, Fred on trumpet and Alvin and Russell on cowbells leading it.
We snake through the crowd and make our way back to the stage where the generator has cooled off and Little Feat is waiting to
finish their set. It was a lot of fun, but the fun wasn’t over. Little Feat took over and finished their set.
We came back out for the last 4 songs with them and capped off an amazing day of music.
