One Set:
1. Intro
2. A Go Go
3. Chicken Dog
4. Boozer
5. Kubrick
6. Chank
7. Deadzy
8. Bass solo > Hottentot

This would be the perfect recording, but the levels are a little too hot, a consequence of stealth recording a bass-heavy performance at the stage lip using the DSMs directly into a porta-DAT. Fortunately, there is plenty of calmer music, and the distortion itself is of scratchy / rumbly sort. It sounds like you need to turn the bass down, but of course that doesn't actually help, here. Unfortunately, the levels stay hot until about 1:40.00 in, when they were brought down for the end of Hottentot.

This is a great recording for the car, or as background music. It would probably irritate you to listen in a quiet room with good headphones.

Thanks to Tom Reizes for the DAT.

In May 1998, Scofield's touring band was:

Larry Goldings - Keyboards
Steve Logan - Bass
John Scofield - Guitar
Bill Stewart - Drums

Enjoy!
