* first time played
^about 90 seconds of straight crowd noise was edited from in between
Restless and the encore in order to squeeze Johnny Cash on D3. No
music, stage banter or pertinent show happenings were cut and the splice
is hardly noticeable, I even had a hard time finding it.

Taper's Notes:
We arrived into the Palace (both nights, 4/25 and 4/26) early since we
all had bags with taping gear in it . . . the first night. We were
directed up to the balcony since that's where the official "Taper's
section" was. We got up there and the main taping head-honchos (Rhamy
and others) got to their seats and found out that the "official section"
was about 35-40 feet to the right side, nowhere NEAR the center section
that we all wanted and thought we had. At first we asked the ushers if
we could just set up in the middle section, or even if there was a way
to swap seats, but it turned out that the middle section was for "season
ticket holders" for the Palace. Somebody went to get JonO, and he came
up and realized how crummy the section's location was. With that, he
said, "OK, ya'll can patch out of my deck tonight if you want." We
proceeded downstairs to the main level (where most of our tickets were
anyways) and were given 3 rows right in front of the SBD to put all of
our taping gear...there was so much room there, they only sold 700 out
of 2500 tickets for both nights. So we were allowed 3 rows...they put
a coax out of JonO's digital out and ran the coax to a digital patchbay,
which had four outs.

When JonO was asked, he said it was a straight
AUD, not a Matrix or SBD. The mics that he has: Schoeps cmxy 4v, and
the preamp, and D/A converter, the V2 and AD2K+, are all second to none.
Hence, the extra tasty crispy sound.
