Tascam DA-P1 (analog out) > dbx 166XL Compressor > Panasonic SV-3800 (digital out) > PC w/ Celeron II 600 MHz(overclocked to 900MHz) > Midiman DIO2448 sound card > record into Samplitude 2496 V-5.50.0.0 @ 32bit float > tracked in Samplitude > burned from Samplitude to Yamaha 8x4x24x SCSI CDRW

Notes:
A 9-volt battery in my Denecke AD-20 pre-amp/analog-to-digital converter crapped out on me with about 2:30 minutes left in the last song. I was thus forced to replace the battery during the middle of a song. And as a result, there is a 30 second hole where the audio is either messed up or completely dropped out. So...I edited this song so that the gap is eliminated and the song now runs smoothly. Keep in mind, that although I was able to keep the timing of the song intact, the acute listener may still hear the edit. Futhermore, a tiny amount of static remains at this point, which was also a side effect of the dying battery. Of course, I could have picked another edit point to eliminate the static as well, but that would have resulted in less music and perhaps a worse edit. Ultimately, I feel that this was the best choice all around.
