This was a radio special by WTJU-FM in Charlottesville. I do not know the venue, but it may be the Prism Coffee House, as WTJU did live broadcasts from the Prism on occasion.

The recording is not the best. There is noticible tape hiss and it sounds like it was recorded in a tin can (probably due to the heavy analog lineage).

There is static at the end of Best Of What's Around.

Dave sings an odd little improv that was given the name "Making Toast". I am not sure if this is a cover or some spontaneous thing.

The begining of Song That Jane Likes is cut off.

From Nancies to the end of the recording, the volume is much lower. The original CD source for this show had about 2.5 minutes of Nancies, then it was cut off. After that, the last 3 songs (with the lower volume) were on the rest of the disc.
I remove the incomplete Nancies and included only the full copy.

These rare older shows have been collected and converted through a collaborative effort to get them into circulation. Sometimes these shows do not have the best sound quality (and maybe that's why they aren't circulated much to begin with), but people should have access to them.

Thanks to Daniel Norman for the CD source used for the conversion.

UPDATE by Henry Hart on 11.16.06:
I corrected the tracking for this show to list the songs in proper
order and to adjust the volume/pitch/speed for those last 3 songs.
I also did a high end cut and a bass increase job on the whole
recording to help out the sound a bit. Then I finished it off by
normalizing to 100%.
