While a large venue for the time, this place was fairly small. Folding chairs set up in front of the stage, and stacks of speakers on each corner of the stage. Low tech compared to now, but great sound. Mick Jagger was dressed in a black cape and black t-shirt with and omega symbol - a super hero of the apocalypse. While the place was ringed by police, a cannabis haze hung over the crowd, who were there to hear the Stones and move to the music. Few sat down through the whole performance. 35 years later, still one of my favorite performances.
