Fantastic show, which is intimate, cool and mellow. Bob introduces the band during Sheriff - 13 min. long version. Crowd really gets into this show. Good quality sound, just some muffled sounds from time to time. Less common track selections; good for the fan who is looking for change from typical show. Featuring Lee Jaffe on harmonica. |

1 sec. partial lose of sound on d1t1. Comments from Al Wright. "A really sweet Marley show, very choice set, soundboard recording. Just the right amount of audience feedback between songs through the vocal mics give it a very nice atmosphere. It gets an A- rating because the bass guitar was recorded a little hot and it occasionally distorts, and there a couple of other recording anomolies - but these are really a very minor problems." |

I don't know what people seem to be so confused about regarding the source of material on this recording. The first three tracks on Disc 1 are with synthesizers. Starting with track 4 on Disc 1 another show begins, possibly from the same night or a much earlier date, played entirely on acoustic piano in a very uptempo New Orleans sounding style. This show continues onto Disc 2 and has no extra filler material on my second disc. This is what I know and I'm not going to try to guess where the 2nd set comes from. Sound quality is very good throughout both sets so I'd definately recommend this one to any jazz fan. |

My best guess is that this is a SBD recording. There's no jabbering by audience near a taper or anything of that sort, I think there's just been a bit of quality loss do to heavy cassette trading of this show. There's a pretty large tape hiss which makes this one pretty annoying to listen to. |

I wouldn't recommend this one. It sounds like it was recorded in a bar and not even close to the monitors. Not good quality by any means. |

Most likely a great digital audience recording from the pavilion at alpine, sounds like a SBD asside from the audience being too clear. |

This recording sounds a bit distant compared to the previous nights recording. Some of the vocals are a bit hard to define and the keyboards are louder than you normally hear. Still a great show and the sound is still very very listenable. Maybe somewhere down the line a SBD of this great event will be released. I'm assuming that this is the best version being circulated since it's recognized by the CDDB. |

OYSTERHEAD Les Claypool - Bass Trey Anastasio - Guitar Stewart Copeland - Drums Drums And Tuba opened. Trey wore Fishman's signature dress, Les wore a pig mask for the first two songs, then a wore a black hat. Stewart's face was painted Trey was very chatty. He played his "musical costume" and sang lyrics to several Jon Fishman classics including "Love You," "Bike," and "Cracklin' Rosie." Trey then mentioned that "you too can own the entire Jon Fishman catalogue for only .95!" Trey then introduced Les as "someone who really sucks" and then introduced Stewart and said "When I was 15 my biggest dream was to be in a band with Stewart Copeland. He was my cream dream. Stewart 'The guy who has sold way more recordings than Les or I' Copeland." Show had a very special vibe to it. The band was visibly animated and festive. Filler disc 1 - Planet Earth Rock & Roll Orchestra. Slide guitar Jam, Wooden Ships Jam, Walking in the Moountains, Loser # 3 and # 4. 11/70 - 1/71. Filler disc 2 - Grateful Dead 09/20/68 St Stephen > The II > Drums (cut). |

This is an incredible show. Some of Peter's most famous speeches. He smokes herb on stage, claims with the Prime Minister, shouts against the "shitstem" and the American press. Peter was tough. This show almost cost his life.
I need a reburn of this, mines messed up after track 4. |

Sound quality is not that great. This show is not recommended unless you're serious about Pink Floyd.

Fade between tracks 6 and 7 and possibly a source switch here also. Levels are higher from here on. |

Great sound and show. Majority of tracks have a sharp fade at their beginnning and ends unfortunately but it doesn't take away from the sound much at all. |

Source change Disc 2 track 2. Fade out at end of track 2 and fade in on track 3 already in progress. Track 4 has a messy fade out and in and in my opinion must be the encore. |

The set list for this show is one of a kind. I don't see how anyone could give this one an A rating for sound since there's an abundance of overload distortion during the show. When the recorder isn't overloading the sound is quite ok. According to some other traders some of these songs were recorded during no other performance so this is a must have for a diehard Floyd fan. |

Another really great Floyd recording from the audience. The sound quality is very very good including the vocals which is usually a problem with older audience recordings. Audience is pretty quiet except for mild chatter during quiet parts of songs. |

Show sounds good except for the loud and rude audience at times. You can definately look past the crowd though. The sound quality excedes other audience Floyds in circulation so I'd recommend this one. Also of note is the first set may have been shuffled around at some point during this shows life, the first couple of tracks don't flow together but the rest of the show does. |

Another great Floyd show. Animals, Wish You Were Here plus the unexpected and final Pink Floyd performance of "Careful With That Axe Eugene ever".
My Disc 1 ends after "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V)" and is followed by a Phish filler for some strange reason. This doesn't belong and I'm wiping it off trades of this show. |

The sound jumps around on this one. The levels seem to bounce around and it is kind of annoying. Woodstock yes, good stuff...not really. If you really like this band you might want this but really it's not that great of a show to own. |

This is a really great sounding show but I don't know anything about it. The person that traded it to me knew nothing of it's origins either. Quality is very good and it is a wonder than this one is not circulated. Have any information please let me know. Thanks. |
