02/02/02

Tampa
FL, Gasparilla - Star 95.7 Stage
1 CDR - I originally did not intend to record this show, so being the dumbass that I am, I did not bring any extra MD's with me, so I had to record on the unused space from the MDs I used the night before - hence why it is split into 2 parts, and hence why the end of 83 is cut. - The beginning of YBIAW is cut because I guess I was just having an all around bad day and the 1st MD locked up on me for a min or two after I stopped recording. - The sound guys had no f-ing clue what they were doing because the bass levels were WAY too high, among other problems. - Thanks to Duncan Byrd for letting me use his MD to tape all these shows I can sing them back. So next time better use a last name for me to know what you mean, I don't mean to be obscene, but this all I can beeeee, I might as well be me."

1 CDR This was a recorded gig for a tv show in the UK....the aim being to showcase Heavier Thing's. It was a very intimate gig of only 200 people. The sound is a little muted at times...especially at the beginning, mainly because I had to conceal my mic. There is also a little mic distortion present on 2 of the tracks.

2 CDR "Heavier Things" tour. A few suprises. Neon was not played but he did play St. Patrick's day (which is a great song). Some of the latter tunes ("bed" & "wheel" in particular) were a tad long 'cause John went off on a jam. There were allot of young girls in the audience. so there is a fair amount of screaming during the more popular songs.
