Notes:
* Exodus intro
# though often mislabeled as "Destiny," "The Blues," "Her Majesty," or "Mother's Night," this is
actually a version of "Once on a Wild Afternoon"
$ this is a very short improv song
Many copies of this show are missing Blue Water, due to conversion problems. For some reason, on
analog tapes that were recorded from the master, Blue Water was lost between sides A and B. Some
of the copies of this show in circulation were taken from a tape other than the master, so they
therefore do not contain this lost track.

Notes:
- I made one edit after transferring at 9:47 of Blue Water. There was a short pop in the right channel. I simply cloned 20 samples from the left channel to replace the "pop" samples. I generally don't make edits, but I figured that less than 1/2000th of a second is hardly a big deal.

Notes:
Playing as an opening act for Ben Harper and Innocent Criminals,
Jack Johnson followed Lake Trout, and Robert Walter's 20th Congress
who played earlier in the day. On the whole an epic day of music,
at the historic Greek Theatre - Go Bears!
This recording came to me by way of a "friend-of-a-friend" of the band.
Before circulating this another fan who knew of its existence asked Jack
at a show if it was OK to circulate this recording; the answer was "yes",
so here it is.
The original recording i received had some problems with the tracking,
so I cleaned up those artifacts and retracked the entire show. This is
not a "source-level" conversion, but to my knowledge this is the
cleanest source currently circulating. There are likely only a few CD
generations between the master and this source, and it does not appear
to have been previously encoded.
There are some mp3 versions of the same source circulating which have
the original tracking; some with incorrect dates for the performance.
If you want mp3s of this show, look for those; Don't convert this one.

The show took place just before they signed with MCA,
and since they were in Hollywood decided to show off; the result -- a fucking amazing show!
The encore of "Close to the Fires" includes "Wasting Away" a very rarely played song.
As a Bonus I have included "Never Say Never."
"Never Say Never" was recorded 2 days later during the Sound Check for The Ventura Theater show. It is basically the band creating a song on the spot, some of which made it into the song "Anyone But You."
Enjoy,
