I Started off with a soundboard 2 gen cassette that was made 5+ years ago.
The sound on the cassette was acceptable, but there were some obvious errors. |

Notes:
- Blues Traveler opened for the Wailers (hence the dedication of
Crystal Flame to Bob Marley...it also happened to be the 9th
anniversary of his death the night before).
- There is a minor buzz in the right channel; it's not noticeable
when the music is playing but can be heard during quiet passages. |

Notes:
- Song lengths make disc division awkward. Three options:
a) For a two-disc show, delete d1t00 and d1t12; these are
'tuning/commentary' tracks and contain no music. Several
comments from the stage are deleted, however.
b) For a three-disc show, include d1t00 through d1t07 on
disc 1 (49:04), d1t08 through d2t04 on disc 2 (73:09), and
d2t05 through d2t07 on disc 3 (35:18).
c) Some burners/programs capable of 'overburning' may be able
to fit the full length of set I without any deletions.
- Several balloons were apparently released into the crowd prior
to set II. Many pops can be heard afterwards throughout the set. |

Notes:
1) Tape flip in the middle of d2t07 was cleaned up by cutting as closely as possible and inserting exactly one second of silence to avoid jarring jump. Other tape flips are during crowd noise.
2) To make disc 2 fit onto a 74-minute CD:
- 01:19:37 of quiet crowd noise was cut from the beginning and end of d2t01
- 00:31:05 of quiet crowd noise was cut from the end of
d2t03
- 00:01:00 of quiet crowd noise was cut from the end of d2t07 and faded |

- Some problems with the PA in track 1; these are also present on
cassettes from other sources.
- This version of "Mountain Cry" was released on the limited-edition
disc "On Tour Forever". |

Notes:
- Considerable crowd noise; it sounds like the recording was
made from the crowd rather than at the board.
- Entire show dedicated to Bill Graham, who had died in a
helicopter accident earlier that week.
- Dropout at the beginning of Crystal Flame from 0:30 to 1:30. |
