Katz tails:
First off, let me inform yinz all that dumb-ass me left my headphones at home ... So I wasn't
able to listen & adjust the mix, I had only visuals on the levels to go by. And with this being my
first solo matrix recording I had no idea on even where to begin with the mix levels. Being the
only person recording the show, I had no one to seek advice from. After listening to the show, while
I was splitting it ito tracks, I've come to the conclusion that the audience should have been more
prominate as the audience is barely audible between tunes. Thus the feel of the show that was desired
by the matrix recording is lacking, in my own self-critical opinion.
It was great to see quite a few friends that I haven't seen since back in the 90s. Alex, Todd,
Lisa (even though she didn't remember me), Gumby, Jeff, Kevin, Jordan (who no longer jams with Donna,
but still is part of the family, as he is their merchandise salesman) & Rikki (who I had touched base
with at the "donnafans" page, but didn't know she was going to be in attendance) ... to name a few.
So ... kick back ... n enjoy!! |
