All Tradable Non-Tradable

Just be honest!!! I use Khypermedia or whatever I have at the time, disc's on shn data's and audio disc's. I can taylor the media type to your liking if necessary to a better quality disc, but I have used these disc's for 2 years now and have had no problems. I would prefer to trade shn's but will do audio if so requested. I will also do B&P for any of my shows that you would like as long as I'm not involved in any other large trades.

09/16/71 The Warehouse shn 2 A Note: This CD set has been copied from an audience tape which surfaced a few years ago. This show is one of the most sought after audience tape in curculation if for no ohter reason than it's quality is fairly high and it's one of only three shows known to be in existance with Duane playing "Blue Sky". Thanks to whoever allowed this tape to come into circulation! Enjoy!

08/17/01 Fox Theater CD_R 2 A This show was held as part of some radio exec promotion thing where Suzanne Vega and Russell Crowe's band Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts also appeared. It was mostly filled with suits from out of town and local chicks come to see the midget Crowe do his best Mellencamp impersonation. Tickets were not available to the general public but maybe 50 total. By the time Byrne came to the stage, most people had left. Mind you, the Fox isn't a large venue by any means and this just made things all the more intimate, which I think you will discern by listening to the recording.

06/27/69 Veterans Auditorium 0 Notes ----- D1T7- Glitch at about 4:23 "From Good Ole San Francisco, the Good Ole Grateful Dead". This is a very interesting tape, recorded as the band was moving from the Live/Dead sound to the Workingman's Dead sound. Note the C&W twang in Bob Weir's voice and the alternative arrangements in some familiar songs. According to Deadlists, Jerry plays pedal steel guitar on "Slewfoot" , on "Dire Wolf" (Weir on vocals!) and on "Green Grass". Digitized from a cassette which, reportedly, was made by Dick Latvala. Apparently, the original recording of "Slewfoot" had the levels set too high for the first several seconds of the song. On the cassette, this portion didn't appear to be saturated, but did have higher levels than the rest of the tape. This portion was captured separately from the rest of the tape, then spliced together later. This explains the distorted sound at the beginning even though the average level is the same throughout. The rest of the song is in pretty good shape, but the subsequent songs sound much better. There is some tape noise in "Dire Wolf", which is sung by Bob Weir. "Baby Blue" has an internal cut, plus it is clipped at the end. dfinney@cts.com (w/slight mods by cpelz@alaska.net)

However, acording to www.thejerrysite.com this tape is likely 4-12-75 late show. Track #2, Lala, has a splice at 11:52. 06/18/75 Boston Garden shnf 2 A Recorded live at the Boston Gardens in Boston,Mass. on June 18, 1975. This is the best audience recording you will ever hear of Pink Floyd. It is even more remarkable considering when it was recorded. It litterally sounds as if the taper was on the stage. Everything is clear and precise. Unlike other versions of this show, this mix is nowhere near as harsh in the midrange. And, it fits nicely on 2cds. If you like the Shine On Tour, you need this show!

Ratdog --- Approximate Hours: 0

12/31/01 Henry J Kaiser Auditorium 0 Taper's Notes: The performance itself was top-notch, so I'm glad the tape came out well. I humbly think that this is a great sounding recording, and is completely worth a good listen. There are absolutely no "glitches" to endure in the recording, and there is more than 12 hours of music. There are, however, two "caveats" that should be included for the more obsessive [like me] among us: 1) THE FIRST SET (Although I like the way it sounds...) The first set of the first show [RatDog 12/30] was taped without any "pad", but I didn't like the way the deck's level indicators behaved [due to the shotgun capsules' extra-mighty ability to gather sound], so after that set I switched on the Tascam's 20dB pad and all the rest of the sets were recorded with the pad. I'm glad I did that because I like the final result much better. Turning the pad on allows me to turn up the input levels and get a livelier response from the Tascam. I think the character of the sound improved, too. But you might never have known if I didn't say so. :-) 2) THE ONLY [fixed] "FLAW" (I truly doubt you'll ever hear where it was...) I fixed it, so this recording you have is entirely without glitches, no worries. But for those of you who read this far, you must be into this stuff, so: In the Crusader Rabbit set, during "The Wheel", while they are singing, my master DAT tape had a very slight (far less than a second) dropout. it was powerfully annoying, but easily fixable by copying a similar far less than a second from the next verse, while they are singing the same part of the same word, and gently easing it into the little gap. You'll never notice. I don't mind it at all, and I'm picky about that kind of stuff. Anyway, I'm really happy with the results, so clear 12 hours on your schedule... Kevin ******************************* The ticket images were scanned by me; they were the tickets I used to get into the show. ******************************* Tracks and Timings (for the Feurio version): [Give and take a few seconds here and there for the Shorten version] Ratdog 12/31/2001 [all one set] CD 1 28:32 track01 04:19 jam > track02 08:19 Feel Like a Stranger > track03 11:35 Easy Answers > track04 04:17 Youngblood CD 2 66:22 track01 07:33 Odessa track02 09:45 Bury Me Standing > track03 07:55 Scarlet Begonias > track04 07:34 Aiko Aiko > track05 08:44 Dear Prudence > track06 04:52 Bass and Drums > track07 11:18 Two Djinn > track08 08:37 Touch of Grey

There were also several stones held in the top section of the pyramid (which did not come to a point but rather the 4 side tubes connected to a circle also made of tubing at the top), and the mic body was clamped off the rear of the pyramid, almost at the top of the 2' 1/2" structure. I was able to get the mic centered this way, and yet from the back of the room the mics were extreamly hard to notice.
