| 09/13/69 | Varsity Stadium - University of Toronto | SHN | 1 | "The Beautiful Die Young has a satisfying soundquality and some very interesting versions of Doors songs. People especially will love the beautiful medley within Back Door Man, featuring early renditions of Maggie M'Gill and Roadhouse Blues. The End is truly fascinating on this CD. And above all - it is a complete concert without any cuts. Do not miss The Beautiful Die Young!" http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palladium/1409/cdguide1.htm ? 1998 Rainer Moddemann, The Doors Quarterly Magazine. Artwork included | ||

| 08/02/97 | Finsbury Park | SHN | 1 | Radio host talking at the end of 'Euro Zero Zero'. This is a remastered version. Mini-gaps from the original version were edited out. It may sound like there still was a mini-gap at the transition from t08 to t09, however, that sound you hear is on the actual recording and may be that of a cymbal. Big thanks to Karl for the initial ripping. Converted to SHN using SHN2K 0.9b with seektables appended. -Martin | ||

| Show Date | Venue | Media Type | Media Count | Sound Quality | Notes | |
| 06/13/03 | Bonnaroo Music Festival | SHN | 2 | It appears this stems from the same source recording that previously circulated however this one obviously comes from a better copy and does not contain the serious flaws evident in the previous one. Note that the flaws in the previous version were detrimental to the extent some segments of audio data were missing. In this new version each of those spots are completely flawless and there are no indications those areas have been edited. The person who did the Mastering in the lineage statement raised the volume and attempted to filter some of the higher frequency noise that (for whatever reason) is present in this source. The end result is a definite improvement. Several smaller 'ticks' were found and removed. It is worth noting these 'ticks' did not exhibit the characteristics typically associated with a bad DAE. And equally interesting is that the 'ticks' all occur in the same locations as in the flawed version suggesting the origin of the 'ticks' is very early in the lineage, possibly even the master recording itself but that is purely speculation. This version has been retracked from its original layout because Like A Hurricane was split in to three tracks that spanned across discs 1 and 2. Now "it's all one song". This is now the cleanest, best sounding version of this Neil Young & Crazy Horse's performance at Bonnaroo 2003 - that is, until the day someone unearths an even more pristine SBD recording. Comments: The very, very end of Like A Hurricane is cut making the transition to the next track a little abrupt. The megaphone parts of Be The Rain are nearly inaudible; it gets a little better later in the song. There is a brief but noticable transition at 4:55 in Roll Another Number. Credits: Neil Young - vocals, guitar Frank Sampedro - guitar, keyboards, vocals Billy Talbot - bass, vocals Ralph Molina - drums, vocals Pegi Young, Nancy Hall, Susan Hall, Twink Brewer - background vocals | ||

| 01/07/77 | WXFM radio studio | SHN | 1 | A | Prior to the release of Equal Rights Peter did a series of radio station interviews in the US that included live solo acoustic performances. He returned to the US later in the year with his band to tour the album. | |
| 02/13/79 | Glenn Miller Ballroom | SHN | 1 | A | Peter Tosh at his best, in an intimate concert setting, recorded in tremendous quality and circulated widely, often with the incorrect date of Sep. 8, 1978. PT was on tour with the Stones in 78 and only played Folsom Field in CO that year. Back in the States in 1979, this performance captures the end of the Golden Age of Reggae. Flaws: Injustice, and intolerance. Credits: To Universal Love. | |
