Arnie was a wonderful human being who has far too few recordings available commercially. This cd is a great example of how he managed to use electronics to enhance his jazz performances, without ever losing the feeling of his music.

I had a couple great recordings of Arnie that were lost, that were more informal. This is one of the few times where I had an organized group appear at the Ramada Inn on our Sunday sessions.

This music is incredibly spontaneous, without any real melody at first, although there are some very compelling melodies arise during their explorations.

This is the most expansive and most exciting recording that I've heard with Arnie. This is one of my favorite cds in my collection. Hope you all enjoy it.
