CommentUnique solo/band show. David played half of the show solo, and was joined for the other half by Ethan Eubanks on drums and Jeff Hill on bass. The Wherever You Are EP was played in order in its entirety. A short set with "a long way to go and a short time to get there". Julia Darling opened for David on this date. This was the only band show on the tour, aside from the opening night with the Nashville band.

Tonight's highlights - "Indiana" is stopped twice due to a very distracted David; a very rare band performance of "Make It Right"; Dylan's "Just Like A Woman" is played on the guitar (it was played on the ukelele at several shows on this leg of the tour). Band reappears at the end of the show for a smokin' "Girl On The Roof".

New Mexico
Comment"New Mexico" was performed unamplified as a singalong.

Tonight's highlights: David gets "Indiana" wrong and in turn skips the breakdown and last verse and chorus; "Comfort" is played in a new arrangement (capo at the second fret); there is some amusing chatter about playing seated versus standing; an extended piano set with a singalong during "God Only Knows"; David nearly takes a tumble when balancing himself on the cushions in front of the stage during "New Mexico".
