CommentThe Paul Kantner Project tree, Electric Paradigm Shift, Phase 1, is our 2 cd-r compilation of music from 2 1989 JA reunion shows, studio demo's (Marty fans will especially like this part),
and a JSTNG show from 1992.

We are dedicating this package to Kantner, who figures prominently in the selections. Just in case you are, like us, into other band members, too, please be advised that we have included much Grace, scorching Jorma, profound Jack, prime Darby, and some not often traded Marty. There should be something for about anybody with a yen for the Jefferson music of that era.

Bootleggers beware! This is all freely traded music intended only for fans.

Disk #1: JA 9-28-89 and 9-2-89, selected tracks; sbd and audience,
respectively; analog to cd-r.

Disk #2: Selected studio demo's, including Kantner's Female Singers
Project, and selected JSTNG from 7-10-92; sbd analog to cd-r.

We have had much assistance in working with the original analog recordings;
for that we are grateful. We tried the least fiddling with tracks that
could be done to reduce hiss without bothering the music, jumped over most
of the comes-with-the-territory recording glitches, balanced volume, and
made it all march to the theme. We hope you will like the music. Having
tried the experiment, it has been confirmed that these recordings will, if
you turn up the volume sufficiently, pleasantly knock knick-knacks off the
wall and roll your socks up and down. You have been warned.
