CommentJanis Joplin was taped in 1963 & 1965 with Dick Oxtot's jazz bands in the San Francisco area. The dates, locations and personnel of the Oxtot-Joplin sessions have only recently come into focus. They were possibly taped at various locations: Oxtot’s Berkeley home, a bar in San Francisco, or Berkeley radio station KPFA-FM.

Pissed Off Geezers
CommentPissed Off Geezers From the Pre-Love Generation. Compilation includes Buddy Rich, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Murray Wilson - lots of swearing & cussing - father of Wilson brothers (Beach Boys) berating them in home recording of Help Me Rhonda. Elvis in studio. Rare stuff.
