CommentNotes: An intimate show played to a handful of friends in a small pub in Prenzlauer Berg. The band sounds pretty laid back and West Coast tonight. Kiryk and Erik are in a joking mood, lots of senseless stage banter happens. The concert begins with an unusally slow-paced version of "Love". Early on they play a version of "Psychosis" that is very close to the recorded version on the first demo featuring outstanding lead vocals. A guitar-driven jam intros and seamlessly segues into "Kicksville". While the band has some problems letting everything go and explode with the garage punk tunes like "Cracker", "Flash" and "Old tattoo" the mellow vibe suits the "Drifter" perfectly. This long version (15 min) includes great intiutive jamming from all players, together they explore new yet unheard twists to the jam. Kiryk throws his soul into the "Better hurry" solo adding brain melting guitar cascades to the tune's natural swing. The encore is a long jammed out version of "Mind garage", definitely their rarest jam and a true Brotherhood highlight: after completing the regular song in its entirety the band goes into an at first fast paced jam that is slowed down soon in a funky manner and is eventually taken down to feature only Henrdix-style blues guitar before they rock it again. The jam expands the tune to almost 14 minutes. This is the band’s last performance at the Bumerang and it marks their departure from the status of a small band who draws only friends to their concerts to a band who recruits new fans from every new audience they face.
