For your edification, I will NOT split up this file set. It trades "as is". This archive represents a lot of time and effort and is not available for B&P. These are audio shows. The discs are a mix of AUD and SBD/FM sources and are not intended to represent a "best of". They are simply a collection of many different torrents from various sources. None of these shows are crappy "completest only" and show each has been purposefully saved for this data archive. I will trade for a nominal amount of shows from my extensive want list ONLY. Want list shows ONLY. If you are unclear about what I will trade this set for, please send your proposal for consideration.

CommentTracks indicated as removed are officially released tracks available through James Taylor's commercial recordings. While the sound quality varies from track to track, nothing is what I would consider 'fan only' and most is 'good' quality or better. These tracks are intended to be the "rarities" collection that encompasses the entire career of James Taylor. I do not know where the removed tracks can be located.

Chapter 8: 1997 Concert Snippet & India TV Interview
Chapter 9: Sally
CommentChapters 1-4: Shakti in Viareggio Italy late April 1977 B&W video 28 mins is a mix of A quality and B quality VHS tapes, the better quality video from a later broadcast during the songs (India & Get Down and Sruti) was overlaid over the B quality. The first chapter is the band tuning up with an Italian commentator talking so I made it a separate chapter the B quality video is last third of "India" all of "Peace of Mind" and a very short middle section of "Get Down and Sruti."
Chapter 5: John McLaughlin & L. Shankar filmed in John's New York apartment in 1977 for a UK TV program the song is "Two Sisters" and John is also interviewed.
Chapter 6: John McLaughlin & Larry Coryell play the Shakti song "Lotus Feet" in Martinique, Fort-De-France in the Caribbean in December 1980.
Chapter 7: John McLaughlin on the Paris TV show 'Le Grand Echiquier' Sept 19, 1984 with Hariprasad Chaurasia, Zakir Hussein and Katia & Marielle Labeque perform "When Blue Turns Gold" (Zakir has said this is the only time they ever played the song live.)
Chapter 8: In 1997 as part of India's 50th anniversary of independence of British rule John was asked to reform Shakti but both Shakti guitars had damaged necks and L. Shankar was not available, John on electric guitar played 4 concerts in England (and possibly also a couple in Europe) with Hariprasad Chaurasia, Zakir Hussein and Vikku Vinayakram. I think the group was billed as John McLaughlin with special guests. Later they were also asked to play in India and they added Benedik Hofseth they played a concert in Oslo Norway some of it was a FM broadcast and the working title of the group was 'Music Without Boundries' in Bombay, India December 1997 they handed out some cassette tapes at the concert of a rehearsal. In the video you can see on the wall a banner with their 'Music Without Boundries' title on it the video only has snippets of the concert and short interviews and a longer interview by TV show host Sanjna Kapoor with John McLaughlin. It's not known if this line up played any more concerts.
Chapter 9: Larry Coryell with 3 original Shakti members formed Peshkar in 1987 but it only lasted for a short time. They play the song "Sally" on unknown UK TV show while on tour in England in December 1987 Anthony Hindson sat in with the group. In 1982, Larry Coryell filled in for John McLaughlin on a Shakti tour of India when John broke his arm playing squash as the tour was about to start.

CommentAll the tracks have been normalized and mixed so it sounds more of less like one continuous concert. All tracks are FM/sbd/pre-FM except two (tracks 15 and 16) are audience.
CommentThis is a data archive consisting of 2 DVD's filled with various Leslie West, Mountain and West, Bruce and Laing shows (some shows feature "Bruce Jr.") in FLAC or SHN format. For your edification, I will NOT split up this file set. It trades "as is". These discs represent a lot of time and effort and are not available for B&P. With the exception of the show marked "DVD", these are audio shows.

For your edification, I will NOT split up this file set. It trades "as is". These discs represent a lot of time and effort and are not available for B&P. With the exception of the show marked "DVD", these are audio shows.

CommentThis is an ultra rare 3CD-bootleg release on Seagull Records, compiling different live recordings from the 1974 "California Jam". Many of the "big" names were there, playing the whole range from hard & heavy rock to blues.
The only tiny little blemish with this release is that nothing here was actually recorded at California Jam. Even better, none of the artists compiled here even played at California Jam! So although this release is complete bogus it is nevertheless a nice collection of recordings most which seem to be sourced from King Biscuit Flower Hour broadcasts.

Comment"THE ESSENTIAL OF KELLER WILLIAMS" - some crazy tracks on the llama
First of all, I'd like to thank to Keller, Lou, Llama: Live Music Archive and all the tapers for providing us these wonderful recordings.
This 1CD compilation contains Keller's incredible jewels downloaded from the Llama. Maybe it's for those who haven't been familiar with this genius, but I hope many ardent fans could enjoy them as well.

Comment[Compiler's comments]
The structure of the compilation's first two discs are in chronological order from the shows I had access to. Disc one starts with Fred Armisen introducing the band in Newport and disc two ends in Tempe, AZ, the second to last show of the tour. I never found Salt Lake City which was the last show of the tour, so the only song played on the tour not represented is "Remember the Mountain Bed" which was only played at that SLC show. All the rest of the songs the band played are included in this collection.
The first two discs represent the typical set list of a given show. Most of the songs on these two discs were played at every show and you will find all the material from AGIB included. Disc three is loaded with tour rarities and ends with "Christ For President" and "Be Not So Fearful". Care was taken to be consistent with Jeff's "pre-election blues syndrome" and because a majority of pre-election shows ended with these two numbers. The fourth and final disc starts with the NYC New Years Eve covers and closes with every TV appearance the band made in 2004 as well as their first 2005 TV appearance on David Letterman. It also includes two Tweedy interviews.
