NOTES:
Each date has its own sub-folder containing the original info.txt file; please view those for further (and often extensive) details. I’ve tried to condense the sometimes confusing origin notes into a manageable lineage statement for each recording.
I’ve only included the tracks on which Parker plays, thus I’ve omitted the unrelated sets from the 1949-12-24 Carnegie Hall concert, and 3 tracks from the 1954-02-25 Portland show.
Due to numerous occurrences of “unknown extension” errors each time I’ve tried uploading this torrent, I’ve had to rename everything to simple file numbers and create a new ffp file.
All files were originally downloaded from either Dime or HungerCity.
Thanks, as always, to the original tapers, uploaders, and audio engineers for preserving, sharing, and improving the quality of these historic recordings. If you know of others that aren’t included here, please share. One that is definitely missing is 1953-05-23 Birdland.
All of these recordings will fit on 3 CD-Rs.
