Higher
CommentSly played guitar on the opening number which was reportedly out of tune and rough going. Things improved by STAND, and the crowd went crazy during the "I want to take you higher" chant. Unfortunately when the band was backstage ready to come out for an encore, someone from the audience started ranting political nonsense out front. Coke cans started to fly and either Brother Freddie or Cousin Larry got hit. An angry Sly abandoned the encore but promised a return set at the end of the festival. They never showed for their encore nor a second set.
