CommentIn 1990, a friend of mine was working for a local private radio
station in southern Germany, and he managed to get an interview with
Marillion on their Seasons End tour in Aalen (which is a little town
in the middle of nowhere). We did this interview (I am not sure how
much if anything at all was ever broadcast), and we were able to
record both the soundcheck and the full concert. I also made a lot of
really bad photographs (most of them are very blurred).
I have wanted to "release" this stuff for several years, preferably
with some nice artwork as a triple-CD-set, but never had the time to
do it properly. I only got round to digitizing my original tape copy
last year, and I found the photographs I made, so I thought this would
be a nice package to put on EZT.
I am pretty sure that the material would benefit from some more
remastering, especially some EQ and normalizing (I only applied a
little bit of noise filtering to cope with tape hiss), and it would
also be nice to have some real Artwork. If somebody wants to try it,
please do so, I have included some of the photographs which could be
used for the artwork. Please do NOT encode to MP3 or any other lossy compression format, and
always share the whole package!
This is intended for free trade only. Do not buy or sell!
