Comment"Every week I'm hunting for songs. Sometimes in noisy pubs, sometimes in beautiful halls where the audience pays a lot of money just to talk and drink with eachother. But there are some places in my country where you can listen to live music and close your eyes 'cause the audience comes for the MUSIC. One of those spots is "In the Woods", located until the end of 2005 in Hollandsche Rading (near Utrecht). Since 2002 I take care for the recordings of all the artists who came and gone. In 2006 "In the Woods" moved to another location, a small venue in Lage Vuursche (just a couple of miles further up the road). Now we use a small amplified system (the Bose PERSONALIZED AMPLIFICATION SYSTEM); not for blowing the people out of their chairs but to provide a crystal-clear sound. it's a nice job to take care for this sound and make the recordings for the artists, the crew... and some of them for YOU !

This recording was a sold out gig for 100 people, all seated (some with their eyes closed 'cause the MUSIC was amazing...) They played full acoustic, no amplifiers! It was a pleasure to make a recording of Darrell Scott together with Suzi Ragsdale. He's one of those few, I realized that evening. It's always nice to have diner with all those musicians, have a short soundcheck, talk with them in an informal atmosphere and see/hear them peak after the moment Leo introduced them.

Enjoy this one !!"
