CommentMiles Davis (tpt, org); Dave Liebman (ss, ts, fl); Pete Cosey (g, perc); Reggie Lucas (g); Dominique Gaumont (g); Michael Henderson (el-b); Al Foster (d); James Mtume Forman (cga, perc)

This set is often listed as "Keystone Korner, January 14, 1974" or as "San Francisco 1975," but the presence of Dave Liebman and Dominique Gaumont rule this out. Gaumont joined Davis following the March 30 Carnegie Hall concert; Liebman left following the South American tour in late May-early June. Enrico Merlin has fixed the date as April 16-21, 1974. Although the quality of the recording is quite poor, it sounds like a small club.
