+ Tape change
---------------
Notes (from the perspective of seeing TONS of shows since this one):
- Bruton kicks ass ... plain and simple.
- 'Home' is on my top 10 list. Love that song!! And this
is an amazing version. Great emotion!
- Certainly in 'Loneyland' album mode
- 'The Sky Is Blue' - I don't remember ever hearing this live
or if I have, it has been A LONG time. What a find!
- 'Big Sunshine' - I have NOOOO recollection of requesting that, but it
has to be me. So great listening to this show. Literally hearing it for
the first time as I am sure I was hammered at the show. If anyone knows
my history with this song, proof that it dates back a LONG time. So funny!!
But he completely doesn't get one lyric right!
- Well, today is 06-13-2002 and these Danny Levin shows seem like a lifetime
ago. I miss them. I am just getting around to getting this off of DAT
and it takes me back. Amazing days! And to think it was only a little
over a year ago. Lots of Bob shows in the last two+ years! Billy is great,
but I miss Bruton too! Bare with me, quite nostalgic! :)
- These shows were before Travis was running sound. I think he started around
June 13 of last year. Yep, he did because I gave him a copy of the first show
I recorded at Antones while he was there and it was 06-13-2001. Wow, today
is his anniversary!! Fuck, I am rambling.

one is. Please email me if you know the name. Never was too into the
Scabs stuff, so it could very well be a Scabs/UA song rarely played at
a Lonelyland show.
Notes:
1) 'Maude' is a very rare song.
2) 'Boombox' is the only copy of this song that I have, I think. Have
lots of shows still on DAT that need to be listened to!

Track fixes: Brian Rose (pnkfloydlunatic@hotmail.com)
I retracked this show. Travis records on a Tascam CDRW700. He doesn't
always get the tracks on the song boundaries because he is busy. I used
EAC to rip and WavMerge to combine the tracks. I then cut them up with
CDWave to create the tracks listed below. There are copies floating around
directly from the master CDs that will not match this setlist, but it is the
same show because as far as I know, this is the only source for it.

specifically noted for me to get this show. There is no better soundguy than Travis.
Just listen and you will see why.
Bob is chatty. Really talks a lot on this show. Good stuff!
Looks like he left on his echo vocal effects box after Samuraii for a while. Not that noticable.

* Due to connection problems, part or all of the songs
with a (*) were only recorded in mono. Sorry...
There shouldn't be any glitches in the audio, though.
Kirk Chen, Chris Hickman, Tung Huynh, and I roadtripped from
Austin, TX to see this show. The venue was pretty awesome,
complete with balcony, pit, and booths... with no bad seats
in the house.
- There is also a video of this show and I also took quite a few
good pictures. A few should be included in this package.
- Thanks to Chris for the setlist help.
- Ghost was performed without the e-bow. |

Notes:
Playing as an opening act for Ben Harper and Innocent Criminals,
Jack Johnson followed Lake Trout, and Robert Walter's 20th Congress
who played earlier in the day. On the whole an epic day of music,
at the historic Greek Theatre - Go Bears!
This recording came to me by way of a "friend-of-a-friend" of the band.
Before circulating this another fan who knew of its existence asked Jack
at a show if it was OK to circulate this recording; the answer was "yes",
so here it is.
The original recording i received had some problems with the tracking,
so I cleaned up those artifacts and retracked the entire show. This is
not a "source-level" conversion, but to my knowledge this is the
cleanest source currently circulating. There are likely only a few CD
generations between the master and this source, and it does not appear
to have been previously encoded.
There are some mp3 versions of the same source circulating which have
the original tracking; some with incorrect dates for the performance.
If you want mp3s of this show, look for those; Don't convert this one.

Notes:
This is a recording of a small, listener appreciation concert that
KFOG held at its studios during the bands two day stopover in
San Francisco when they were playing at the Fillmore. This concert is
entirely Jack Johnson playing solo and accoustic. Between songs Jack
shares some of the stories behind the music.
This show was later rebroadcast on the "Accoustic Sunrise" and
"Live From The Archives" shows. Originally aired February 17, 2002.
To my knowledge this recording is identical to the version broadcast
on the radio.
The setlist posted on the KFOG website lists "Ironman" as a song that
was played during this show, but it is not present on this recording.
Source CD was received directly from Oniracom staff, who received
their copy from the band, who had received it from KFOG. It is my
understanding that it is ok to circulate this recording.
This version is *NOT* FM sourced.

Notes:
A super mellow vibe for a sold out Valentines Day show in the 'Cruz
Mason Jennings and his band opened. Mason also joined Jack during the encore for
"Living In The Moment", "Plastic Jesus" and "Fall Line"
The band played "On and On" together for the first time
Jack mixes some lyrics from "Me & Julio Down By the School Yard" into Sexi Plexi
Jack debutes "Cupid Only Misses Sometimes" and dedicates it to his wife for Valentines Day
The band joined Jack for the encore to close out the show with "Express Yourself"
Overall another great show with some twists from the usual setlist

added as filler)
Jack mixed some classic Cars lyrics into Sexy Plexi
David Leach joins the band on percussion for Rodeo Clowns,

during Flake to complete the night.
