09/03/65 Hollywood Bowl CDR 2 A Bob Dylan Hollywood Bowl 9/3/65 Soundboard Both Sets from Silver This show popped up out of nowhere in the late 90's and was suddenly everywhere! Numerous bootlegs appeared; this is direct from silver; "From Newport to the Ancient Empty Street in L.A." on Dandelion (DL 061/62). The discs came with lots of other tracks, but I'm pretty sure that most wound up on the new official release "Bootleg Series vol.7" When I know what's on that, I may post the rest of the tracks... This is a perfect soundboard. The electric set is with The Band (yes, with Levon Helm too). It's got a few songs that don't appear in the more common 1966 shows. It's missing the crucial energy that the '66 Europe shows have; but hell, it's a soundboard with The Band from '65 in perfect sound. That alone makes this a must! Acoustic Set: 1. She Belongs to Me 2. To Ramona 3. Gates of Eden 4. It's All Over Now Baby Blue 5. Desolation Row 6. Love Minus Zero/No Limit 7. Mr. Tambourine Man Electric Set: 1. Tombstone Blues 2. I Don't Believe You 3. From Buick 6 4. Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues 5. Maggie's Farm 6. It Ain't Me Babe 7. Ballad of a Thin Man 8. Like a Rolling Stone

??/??/07 2007 Chrome Dreams Continental Tour Compilation CDR 4 A+ 2007 Chrome Dreams Continental Tour Compilation A Compilation of the just completed USA Neil Young Tour. Only mastering done to tracks was to groupwave normalize them to -12db in Adobe Audtion. Fade in/out was also performed on each track. I broke it up into 4 discs to better reflect the set makeup of the shows. I also attempted to include at least one track from each venue on the tour. I've listened to it all together 3 times and am quite happy with how it sounds. Thanks to all the tapers and uploaders! It truly was a great tour! Looking forward to hearing all you European Tapers work in 2008! 02/12/08 Stadsschouwburg CDR 2 A+ Artist: Neil Young w./ Rick Rosas, Ben Keith, Ralph Molina, Anthony Crawford & Pegi Young Venue: Stadsschouwburg City: Antwerpen (BE) Date: 2008-02-12 It was this evening Neil at his best, I think the acoustic set didn't start as good as the previous evening, but the song selection changed everything! Neil was talkative inbetween songs and in a good mood. included in the acoustic set are: Try: first performance ever in Europe This song was introduced during the American Continental tour after someone in Portland called for a song, Neil replied something and an other person in the audience said in a response "Try it". On which Neil replied: "That's a good one, and asked someone aside of the stage to write it down" Obviously Neil only heard Try (instead of Try it) A couple of shows later the song which was only known by it's title was introduced in the set. Cowgirl In The Sand: As far as I know this song was only played in Europe in the UK: both in 1973 during the Tonight's The Night Tour and in 1976 at the Hammersmth Odeon. ( The song I have been waiting for to hear live for more than 26 years.) Final song of the evening: The Sultan: First performance ever in Europe, the song was played only a limited number of times during the US Continental tour. Rockin'In The Free world: A song often played live since 1989, but was not played during the US Continental tour. Recording: Edirol R-09 + SPS-CMC8 microphones Lineage: Edirol >harddisk > Soundforge 4.5 + plugins + SEKD Red Roaster PowerAMP: WAV > FLAC. Editing: Using the Sonic Maximizer process, graphiq equalizing of applaus inbetween songs of the acoustic set, fade in/ fade out where possible removal of some loud clapping. Neil aborted from Hank To Hendrix after a couple of minutes as he was disturbed by all the photographers taken pictures. Also a drunk man was shouting early in the show and was near the photographers when the song was aborted. Photographers had to leave before he would continue. They returned at the beginning of the electric set.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse --- Approximate Hours: 5

02/25/70 Music Hall CDR 2 A- This particular recording has recently surfaced & comes from an all new source. This is not one of the many other versions of this show, it sounds like a soundboard & has eliminated most of the hiss that the others have. Old Crazy Horse recordings that feature Danny Whitten are so hard to come by, especially one's that sound this good. Upon first listen, this became on e of my all time favoites. If you're a Neil fan or have one of the other sources, this is mandatory for your collection. It truely is pure bliss. There is but one minor flaw, a short cut during a blistering 20 minute version of "Down By The River." You need this recording. A special thanks must go out to whoever provided us with this unbelievable bootleg.
03/31/76 Hammersmith Odeon CDR 2 A- A lot of channel balancing had to be done and it's a pity nothing could be done to the overload distortion occurring in some tracks of disc 2. What's messed up can never be recovered. TAPERS, PLEASE, KEEP SOME HEADROOM !!! -:)

02/26/08 Madison Square Garden CDR 2 A Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood Madison Square Garden New York, NY February 26, 2007 Excellent show, it is everything you want and speaks for itself. Great sound and great crowd for MSG. Most hoots, hollars and whistles are only apparent between songs. Regrettably, I turned off the power to one mic, so this is a single mic, double mono recording ... meaning I just copied the left channel into the right channel to give quasi stereo effect. Don't get me wrong, this is still a great recording. I'd bet very few of you would ever have known if I didn't say anything about this fact, but I do believe in full disclosure (probably to a flaw).
