01/01/73 Crater Festival FLAC 0 Gregg Rolie- keys Neal Schon-guitar Pete Sears-bass Greg Errico-drums
03/19/76 Orpheum Theatre FLAC 1 This is a very clean audience recording from the taper of many Boston Shows- Stones, Neil Young that are in circulation are all his work- I did not copy down his recording equipment, because the trade I did was about 10 years ago. Great performance by Journey- a member of the audience heckles Rolie to play Evil Ways-- Journey is opening for ELO on this tour.

03/24/78 The Tower Theatre FLAC 0 A decent early Journey show w/ an introduction of Steve Perry as the “new guy”. They display a little harder sound here than they would develop by the time Perry fully takes the reins and Greg Rollie left the band. Very nice Neal Schon guitar solo in 'Winds Of March', Wheel In The Sky begins w/ a more acoustic guitar sounding intro (like the album version) instead of the clean electric version which is common in later shows. Also notable for the inclusion of “Karma”, sung by Neal Schon, it was only performed occasionally from 1977-1979. Diehards will notice that the little music intro at the very beginning is an excerpt of “Nickel & Dime” off the “Next” album.
06/10/78 Capitol Theatre CD-R 1 A+ Great Show. Encores are the highlight.

12/12/78 Unknown FLAC 0 December 12 (May be the original intended air date, or the date of the recording): 'Journey Super Jam' --A 1978 live radio special that never aired -- plus studio outtakes never before heard -- recorded in San Francisco with Journey and special guests Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers, the Tower of Power horns and Jo Baker and Annie Sampson of Stoneground. A chance to hear Steve Perry sing non-Journey material. Fantastic!!

02/25/83 Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium FLAC 2 EXCELLENT soundboard recording from the beginning of Journey's 1983 Frontiers tour. Did some research on this one - according to the knowledgable folks at the "Digital Journey Experience" website, this show was taped in case their other Japan show that was taped for FM radio didn't come out sounding right. In other words, this was a backup show. This is the complete show, and it sounds freaking awesome! They open with a smokin' "Chain Reaction" and go without pause into "Wheel In The SKy" then "Line Of Fire". But probably the best part of this show is next - just look at the line up of "Send Her My Love", "Still They Ride", and "Open Arms"! "Still They Ride gives me chills when Steve does it live - IMHO the only slow song he does better is "Mother Father" off the Escape tour. Neal Schon takes the vocals next with his song "Lies". The encore also rocks - first of all they do a 5 song encore!!!! Second, they start the encore with my all time favorite Journey song "Escape", then go right into "Seperate Ways". I'm telling you, this show kicks ass! I just can't say enough about this show! This is the classic Journey line up - Steve Perry, Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain, and Steve Smith.
03/02/83 Budokan Hall FLAC/DVD-R 1 A/A My DVD is an original that I made myself. It has both the original FM and the MPEG-1 Compressed TV broadcast audio (2 tracks). Where the MPEG-1 did not have video, I made slideshows to fill the gaps.

10/15/86 Philadelphia Spectrum FLAC 1 A+ Steve sounds great. I was able to fit this on one cd, although the trader had it on 2 discs.
10/17/86 Joe Louis Arena FLAC 0 One note of confusion, and I think most people have this version of the Detroit Show - the Raised on Radio drum/bass solo is the same as the one from the Philadelphia show. Someone spliced in that solo/part of the show. But almost everything else is definitely from Detroit. Wish that "edit" never happened - but it is what it is.
