04/01/90 Cabaret Metro Flac 0 Cabaret Metro and Metro are one in the same clubs. I think sometime in the early nineties they decided to go with the shortened name of just Metro. There was a tape flip between Been A Son and Negative Creep but nothing was cut, so I simply merged the wav forms. I suppose if someone wants to, you could crossfade the wavs and produce a less noticeable split, but I just left the recording as is. Enjoy.

06/14/01 Fireside Bowl Flac 0 See pdf on flac disc to see where I was standing. The pdf "origami" is a cd sleeve made by folding. You could also trim it to get something for a jewel case. Or put High On Fire 6/13 and 6/14 in the tray of a double jewel case, then put Pelican 6/14 in the origami sleeve where the booklet usually goes, tucked under the little tabs. This was Pelican's first show. They opened for High On Fire (the only one of the three openers that didn't suck). They were the first to play, and only got about 30 minutes of stage time. I don't recall the other two openers, just that they sucked and were major drops in the heaviness between Pelican and High On Fire. Read the pdf file from the 7/29/05 Chicago Reader for more Pelican info. Until I read that, I had forgotten this was their first show.

04/28/72 Auditorium Theater Flac 0 This show has been widely bootlegged and traded in various levels of quality. Back in 2001, (someone who shall remain nameless) digitaized the cassette masters for the first time. It was briefly tree'd on The Well in CD form but it never seemed to make it into general circulation. I have one of the few DAT clones made from the original DAT. For some of you that already have this show, it should be an upgrade. If you have never heard this show, hang on to your hat! No equalizing or remastering is ever done to any shows I seed. Here it is, as it was recorded that night back in 1972. Enjoy!

10/06/05 Rose Garden Arena Flac 0
06/25/06 Rexall Place Flac 0 Rexall Place is a difficult place to record in as the mix can become muddy but this turned out better than expected. Some crowd noise like clapping or talking (between songs) is heard, but very minor and does not take away from the recording. This was the first of two stops on their mini-tour before touring with Ozzfest later that week. The band was in top form, performing some songs live for the first time and rocked just as hard as they did their last stop in Edmonton in 2005. Enjoy!

08/22/06 BC Place Arena Flac 0 Notes: -- The venue is not to be confused with the *stadium* of the same name, situated right across the street; but I don't want to use the arena's "official" corporate name... -- We were promised a new setlist, and so it is (after a fashion): the same songs, in a somewhat different order. Oh, well; it still rocked like fuck. (Especially Danny -- although, believe it or not, Danny and Justin didn't seem as locked-in as they had in Seattle a few months back.) But I *really* wanna hear "Wings" live. -- The friggin' canucks had their lighters blazing during "Lost Keys". I wasn't sure if I'd taken a wrong turn and ended up at the Styx concert (although I have to admit that it did look pretty neat). -- The recording sounds pretty good -- even *very good* when listened to through headphones -- but does suffer from the show's having taken place in an arena. The vocals are notably distant-sounding, for example. There does some to be a bit of noise at certain points. The only thing I can figure is that it may be something to do with the zipper on the jacket I was wearing interacting with the belt I was wearing. It's not really an issue, but thought I should mention it.

08/30/06 Coors Amphitheatre Flac 0 Some wind and wish wash and 2 very annoying girls right behind me screaming in unison and their dumbass boyfriend that kept yellin to hear 6 degrees lol Anyway it is what it is an outdoor recording from a ways back and lots of aud noise
09/02/06 Sleep Train Amphitheater Flac 0 Well this was a typical tool show with lots of people screaming there dumb ass's off. Other than that the recording isnt that bad, i wish they would have played more than just all the singles off there albums but i cant do shit about that so oh well.......
