Comment
This is a recording of Simple Minds' soundcheck just prior to the
first concert of their "Sparkle in the Rain" tour. Includes a rare rehearsal of "White Hot Day" which was quickly dropped from the set, and hasn't been performed live since. Jim's contribution is minimal - he sings a few lines every now and then, but for the most part this is instrumental.
The taper appears to move around during the recording, and at certain
points the sound quality suffers (particularly during track 11, the
second run-through of "Speed Your Love to Me"). Sound quality improves
again for the last few tracks.
