April 22, 1979: The Rolling Stones performed two benefit concerts for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind in Oshawa, Ontario. The shows were part of Keith Richards’ 1978 sentence for heroin possession; busted in Toronto in 1977, he was ordered to do community service instead of doing time in prison.
