Source: Unknown mic > Sony MZ-R900 > CDR
Quality: Not bad, but with problems (se below).

The Bass drum was very loud in the mix through the PA-system, which caused some problems for the microphone. The input level on the Mini Disc recorder was probably also set a bit too high. Especially at the beginning of the show, there's very notable distortion on the bass drum beats. This gets gradually better as the PA-sound gets adjusted, but there remains a hint of distortion in the lower frequencies throughout, and at times it's more pronounced than others. Otherwise it's a clear and well defined recording. There's also some talking close to the mic at times, but I guess that's just the way it goes. All in all this isn't the best recording ever made, but it's got its good moments.

Towards the end of the show, Noel McCalla threw his tambourine out into the crowd, and it was picked up by a person close to the taper. You can hear him play along for a while at the beginning of "Mighty Quinn". McCalla had to ask for the tambourine a few times before he got it back, but unfortunately that wasn't recorded, as. Still, the title is there: "Where's My Tambourine?".

No alteration or adjustments have been made to recordnig, apart from the insertion of index marks.
