Notes THE BUENAVENTURA LIMITED SERIES, VOL. 46

With much gratitude to the generosity of buenaventura, here's another straggler of an installment in this limited series, to counterbalance the so far terrible '20s.

This limited series was so coined because there wasn't a deluge of tapes coming through for this, and the scope of it is still undetermined. To date, loughney and auto_pilot may have uploaded more from buenaventura's collection than the volumes in this series so far, but there are still a few more to follow, and it's only a matter of time before they do.

This time around we catch Belly on stage after their van has broken down, and they've been stuck in a highway truck stop for seven hours. They are touring in support of their debut album "Star" which was released the month before. For the show, they're resigned to using the gear from the Jazz Butcher Conspiracy. It's a spirited show in spite of the hurdles of the day's events. Tom has taken to writing out the setlist with foul words in place of the actual song titles ("Low Red Fuck" being one example). Tanya apologizes for not being able to speak German, and seems to compromise by tossing candy out to the audience between songs, and chatter runs the gamut from pornography to surfing. She beckons an audience member to step up to the stage to give his reading of the lyrics to their latest UK top 40 hit "Feed the Tree."
